If you're new to the cannabidiol oil scene, you may find yourself confused when it comes to choosing the right product for you. In fact, there are tons of CBD products, and they come in a variety of potencies and strengths. Even at SabaiDee, we offer a range of products that each have a different CBD oil strength.
Thankfully, you don't have to guess when it comes to choosing the strength of CBD oil. You can take some steps to find a product that offers the right potency to fit your needs.
Different CBD Oil Strengths
CBD Oil Strength
The strength of CBD oil ranges greatly from 250 milligrams, like in our Good Vibes CBD oil, to 2,500 milligrams, like in our Mega Good Vibes product. Any bottle that contains under 300 milligrams of CBD is generally considered low potency and a good place to start if you've never used CBD oil.
Starting at a low potency allows you to gauge how your body will react to CBD. One of the great benefits of using CBD oil is that it has little to no side effects. However, everyone's biochemistry is different. As a result, the amount of CBD that you need to achieve the desired effects might be different from someone else. For this reason, choosing the correct CBD oil strength is important.
When you break down the difference in the strength of CBD oil, you might be confused about how much CBD is in the entire bottle and how much is in a serving. For example, Super Good Vibes from SabaiDee says on the front of the bottle that it contains 1,000 milligrams of CBD. This is how much CBD is in the entire bottle of Super Good Vibes. It's not how much you get per serving.
The amount of CBD that you get per serving is listed on the back of the bottle. For example, each serving or dropper of Super Good Vibes contains 33.5 milligrams of CBD. The serving size of Good Vibes contains roughly 8.33 milligrams. Understanding the difference between the CBD content of the bottle and the content per serving is crucial.
Below is a complete breakdown of the CBD Oil Strengths of our products:
|How much CBD is in the bottle:||How much CBD I get in 1 mL Dropper:|
|250 mg||8.33 mg|
|1000 mg||33.5 mg|
|2500 mg||83.33 mg|
Gradually Increasing Your Dose
Starting with a low-potency oil and gradually working your way up to a higher dose garners more positive results than simply starting with a high dose. Some people want to feel the effects of the CBD oil right away, so they jump right into a 2,500-milligram bottle of CBD oil.
However, you'll never know how much CBD oil that you actually need to get the effects that you want with this approach. Instead, start with a small dose, and slowly increase the amount that you take. You can do this by taking half doses and eventually taking two or three doses a day.
For example, let's say that you start with Good Vibes CBD oil from SabaiDee. A half serving contains roughly 4 milligrams of CBD. Try taking this dose for a week, and then increase to a full dose of 8.33 milligrams. From there, you can increase to a dose and a half or roughly 12 milligrams of CBD if you need to.
Eventually, you can upgrade to a bottle of CBD oil that contains a higher potency. Doing so will reduce the number of doses that you take each day to achieve the desired effects.
CBD Oil THC Strength
In regard to CBD oil strength, the tetrahydrocannabinol content is often brought up as well. In 2018, the Farm Bill made it legal to sell hemp and hemp extracts. By federal law, though, hemp can't have more than 0.3% THC in it. Anything that has higher than 0.3% is considered marijuana.
As a result, the CBD oil THC strength in all products is no more than 0.3%. It's the reason why CBD products don't get you "high."
